DTU Assistant Professor Recruitment 2026: 219 Posts Open

Delhi Technological University has invited applications for Assistant Professor posts through its recruitment process. The drive covers 219 vacancies.

The registration process has begun and the application deadline is December 7, 2026. Candidates should use an active email address and mobile number because the university will use these details for communication.

Applicants must open the jobs section on the official DTU website and select the online application form. After completing the form, they must submit it as instructed in the recruitment notice.

The printed online form and Annexure-II must be signed on each page. Candidates also need to attach self-attested copies of relevant documents, including qualification records, experience proof, category or PwBD certificates, the front page of the PhD thesis, publication details, eligibility documents and fee proof.

The documents must be placed in a single sealed envelope and sent to the Recruitment Cell, Room No. 818, 8th Floor, AB-3 Block, Delhi Technological University, Shahbad Daulatpur, Bawana Road, Delhi – 110042.

The application fee is ₹2000 for candidates in the UR and OBC categories. EWS, SC and ST candidates have to pay ₹1000, while PwBD candidates do not have to pay the fee.

The fee will not be refunded or adjusted against another recruitment process. The selection details assign 30 marks to the PhD degree, 60 marks to the Pre-PhD degree and 10 marks to a relevant qualification such as UGC/CSIR-NET (JRF), GATE or CEED.

A PhD awarded by a foreign university must be recognised by the Association of Indian Universities. Candidates may need to provide the related certificate. No correction, modification or category change can be requested after the online form is submitted.
