Passport size photo questions
What is the passport size photo size in India?
The common size is 3.5 × 4.5 cm (35 × 45 mm) with the face taking up most of the height and a plain light background. Some forms use other sizes, so check your notice.
How do I print many passport photos on one sheet?

How many photos fit on a 4×6 sheet?
Eight 3.5 × 4.5 cm photos fit on 4×6 inch photo paper with thin cut lines between them. A4 fits many more.
Can I change the background to white?
Yes. Open the Background tab and turn on Remove background, then choose white or light blue.
Can I use a selfie?
Use the back camera if possible and ask someone to take it from about one metre away at eye level. Selfies at arm's length distort the face and are often rejected.
Is this valid for an Indian passport application?
Passport Seva Kendras usually take your photo at the centre. Use this for forms, ID cards, admit cards and applications that ask you to upload or paste a passport size photo.
